SNS nails — otherwise known as a “dip powder manicure” — are made with a powder and glue, and the combo creates a long-lasting bond on your nails. SNS is actually a brand of dip powder, the same way OPI and Essie are brands of nail polish, which is how the method got its name.
Two to three weeks. SNS nails can last anywhere from two to three weeks. This timeframe is usually indicative of the regrowth on your beds. You can get powder manicures refilled, but most of the time you will have to get the color removed and start from scratch.
SNS is hailed as a healthy manicure, It can be applied to almost any nail, no matter how short.
If you want longer nails, acrylics are your best bet. If you want stronger nails and a long-lasting mani, gel or Shellac is the way to go as it will give durable nails. Shellac works best if you want the most natural finish.
Let your nails soak for 15-20 minutes if using pure acetone—if using regular nail polish remover, you’ll need to let your nails soak a little bit longer. This will dissolve all the SNS powder. Check each nail one by one—the SNS should now be gooey and malleable. Use the cotton to finish wiping the SNS off each nail. But we recommend you to visit a Nail salon for the best results.
